Notecard Dungeons
A downloadable game
Notecard Dungeon
A hand-drawn, dice-fueled dungeon crawl that fits in your pocket and hits harder than it should. Made by one person with a printer, some dice, and WAY too much free time.
Notecard Dungeon is a print-and-play adventure game packed with danger, treasure, and questionable decisions. You’ll explore hand-drawn dungeon cards, roll dice to move and battle, and try to survive long enough to open that one chest in the lava room that’s almost definitely not worth it.
This is D&D distilled into its purest form: loot, monsters, and vibes.
Still in the Works
Notecard Dungeon is still being made — hand-drawn, playtested, and pieced together one scribble and card at a time. Thanks for the patience!
What You’ll Do:
-
Crawl through rooms drawn like notebook doodles
Each card is a 4x6 grid full of lava lakes, hidden shortcuts, weird fountains, and way too many locked doors. -
Fight monsters or run like a coward
Every step risks an encounter. Stronger enemies threaten to end your run, and YOU!! -
Gather items, potions, and magical nonsense
Teleport with a portal in a bottle. Walk across lava in firewalker boots. Equip the Wand of Zigzag and redefine geometry. -
Play as one of four classic classes
Rogue, Wizard, Barbarian, or Ranger — each with a unique passive ability that changes how you explore and survive. -
Beat the final (?) boss
The dungeon ends with a golden throne and a very unimpressed king. Good luck with that.
Made For:
People who like dungeon crawls but hate rulebooks, love monster-slaying and loot-plundering, but fear commitment, and have always wanted to play D&D but have the attention spans of goofy little goblins.
New classes and dungeons will be added when (and only when) I have the time, the motivation, and haven’t accidentally started making a different game instead. So yeah—updates will happen. Eventually. Probably.
Important Note:
This is a will be a printable PDF only.
You’ll need to supply your own dice (D6s), a few coins or tokens to mark treasure, and possibly a pencil if you're the kind of person who takes things waaaaaay too seriously.
No physical components are included — just the cards, all scribbled by hand.
